Mia’s Camping Weekend

Last weekend was Mia’s best weekend because she was on a school trip. She was with her three best friends so she felt very happy and lucky. They took a bus to go to a forest for camping. It was Mia’s first time to make a camp. She was very excited. They were on the bus for 5 hours so when they arrived at the forest they were all very tired. Everybody ate their sandwiches and drank their milk. Then, they went to bed.

The next day started very early because they needed to do so many things. First, they had breakfast by the lake with a beautiful view. Then, they started to collect small pieces of wood and dry branches because they needed them to build a bonfire at night. After that, they attended a lesson about how to keep forests clean. Finally, they were free to do what they wanted. Some students did sports, some of her friends just relaxed and some read books or called their families. Mia and her friends played cards in their tent and they had so much fun. Mia won at the card games. After dinner, they made a big campfire and everybody sat around it. They chatted and sang songs. It was a joyful time for all the campers.
