Ed Stafford - It took him 2 years and 4 months to walk the entire length of the Amazon River, a total distance of 4000 miles. on foot. During his trecherous adventure he raised awareness of the environmental problems facing the Amazon people.

Jessica Watson - When she was 13 she informed her parents that she wanted to sail solo around the world. Despite public protests about her age and ability she went ahead. On March 15th 2010, she arrived at Sydney Harbour Bridge, 3 days before her 17th birthday.

Eric Larsen - For 15 years, this man, whose personal motto is ‘It’s cool to be cold!’ has been exploring the polar regions. Over time, he has seen a decline in the ice caps and started a ‘Save the Poles!’ project. He has taken part in scientific research and documentary programmes to inform the world.
