Most Unusual Restaurants
Eating out has always been one of my favourite activities, and that’s why I search for the most unusual and interesting restaurants wherever I travel. These days, I am doing research on the most unusual restaurants around the world, and here are some of the most amazing places I have found.
From an underwater dining room to a restaurant made entirely out of ice, these places offer both amazing food and impressive views.
Most restaurants in the Maldives offer a great view, but Ithaa Undersea Restaurant is under water.
Ithaa Undersea Restaurant at the Conrad Resort in the Maldives sits below 16 feet of water, offering an experience and views of sea life that you normally wouldn’t be able to get without getting in a wetsuit and using a snorkel.
Although it’s a bit expensive, eating a six-course meal at Ithaa is a kind of once-in-a-lifetime experience. I am planning to visit that restaurant soon.
Everything is made of snow or ice at the Snow Castle restaurant in Finland.
Everything at the Snow Castle restaurant in Finland is made of either snow or ice, except the food and drink. Because of all that ice, guests must eat quickly before their food gets too cold. The entire castle, including the restaurant, is rebuilt every winter.
The Safe House in Milwaukee takes the average game night to the next level.
When you look at this restaurant from outside, it doesn’t look very elegant or interesting, but when you say the password and enter, you are suddenly transformed into a spy and given a mission.
The moderately priced menu features appropriately named items like ‘Checkpoint Charlie’ and ‘Double Agent.’
The only way for diners to get to this New Zealand restaurant is to take a gondola-lift ride.
Stratosphere offers views no matter where you’re seated thanks to tiered seating and walls made of windows. This restaurant is so high up that a gondola lift is required to reach it.
Prices of the dishes vary depending on the age of diners and whether it’s lunch or dinner time.
Instead of having dinner at a restaurant with a view of the Eiffel Tower, why not eat at a restaurant in the Eiffel Tower?
At 58 Tour Eiffel, guests watch the streets of Paris from above. The restaurant is situated on the first floor of the famous French monument. Meals are expensive even if you go for lunch, so save this restaurant for a special occasion.
