The World’s Largest Toy Museum

My name is Hayley. I live in Branson, Missouri, in the USA. I love to collect porcelain dolls. I think they are very pretty. Each one is very special. My favourite collection of dolls is at The World’s Largest Toy Museum. It’s close to my house. They have many different toy collections there. Some toys are over 100 years old! I like all the old cast iron toys and tin toys. My mom says my grandmother had those kinds of toys. My brother likes action figure collection. There are X-Men, Superman, and Star Wars figures in it. My mom and dad really like toys about space.

Terracotta Warriors of China

My name is Cheng. I live in Xi’an, China. My favourite museum is the Terracotta Warrior Museum. You should go early because it becomes crowded. There are thousands of clay warriors to see. Everyone has a different face. 2,000 years ago, Qin Shi Huang was China’s first emperor. When he died, the people made an enormous tomb for him. The Terracotta Warriors were made to protect him. The statues are very interesting. Some look happy and some look serious. Some warriors have shields and swords and others have bows and arrows. There are also clay horses, pots, and other exhibitions, too.
