MY BEST FRIEND IS AN ASTRONAUT!

Sunita has been my best friend since we were born. Our parents are next-door neighbours so we basically grew up together. All her life, Sunita wanted to be an astronaut. She spent all her childhood dreaming about it. In all her adult life she worked for making her dream come true. While all the other girls were playing with dolls or dreaming about being supermodels, Sunita was imagining travelling in space. In fact, when she was very young, she wanted to be the first person on the moon, but she soon realised that Neil Armstrong has already been on the moon even before

Sunita was been born. So she decided that she would be the first woman on the moon instead! Sunita studied physics because she thought it would be useful. Then she studied to become a pilot because a lot of astronauts were pilots first. When Sunita saw a job advertisement at NASA in the USA, she immediately sent her letter to the managers. They liked her and, soon, Sunita was moving to America. She started her dream career and worked with astronauts on the Space Shuttle. Sunita still hasn’t been to space yet, but she’s hoping that the day will come soon. Her dream is still possible because they have not sent many rockets to the moon recently. She can be the first woman on the moon in the future!
