MY BIG AND HAPPY FAMILY

MY BIG AND HAPPY FAMILY

I have a big family. I live with my parents, my two little sisters and my grandparents in the same house. More people living in the same house means more housework. I’m glad everybody in my big family is responsible. For example, we all a) .................................................. our beds as soon as we get up. It’s my responsibility to b) .................................................. the table for breakfast. After breakfast, my grandfather and grandmother c) .................................................. the washing-up together. My little twin sisters, Jane and Kate, d) .................................................. the furniture and e) .................................................. the rubbish every day. My mother likes to f) .................................................. the clothes and our school uniforms, that’s why she never complains about it. My father has to g) .................................................. the floor and h) .................................................. the carpets every two days, but we always have to remind him to do his part!

We are giving a birthday party for my twin sisters next weekend. We need to ask for help from friends about food because nobody in our house knows how to cook. I think we’re going to ask Uncle Mark first. He makes the best cakes ever! Then we are going to ask Jennifer for snacks. She makes delicious fruit skewers and chocolate dipped strawberries. It’s going to be an amazing party and we are all excited about it! Kate and Jane aren’t excited, because they do not know about it yet. It’s going to be a surprise party.
