My Bucket List
Kyle: Hey, Joe! You’ve been busy with that notebook today. What are you reading?
Joe: I’m not reading anything. I’m just updating my bucket list.
Kyle: Your bucket list? What is that?
Joe: It’s a list of things that I hope to do before I reach a certain age.
Kyle: That’s interesting! What is on your list? Can you tell me?
Joe: Well, I never share it with my friends, but because you have been my best friend for a long time, I can share some of it with you. So, here is what I want to achieve by the time I’m 25. At the top of my list, I want to visit Paris. I haven’t been there yet, but I’ve already seen beautiful pictures of it.
Kyle: I want to do that too, but I think I’ll be able to do it when I’m 30 or so. Have you got anything on the list that you have done?
Joe: Oh yeah! Many! Here’s a page full of ticks.
Kyle: Wow! You’ve done rock climbing! And you’ve been camping in the desert! These are pretty cool!
Joe: Yeah, but I haven’t walked across America yet. I think I’ll be able to do it before I’m 25.
Kyle: Interesting! Have you got a bucket list for private things, for example, getting married or having children?
Joe: There’s one! I haven’t had a girlfriend yet, but I want to find one before I’m 17.
Kyle: I’m sure you don’t need a bucket list for that. You just have to look around!
