My Crazy Family!

I have a big and very mixed family. I was born in England in 1980. I have two big brothers and my mum and dad. My oldest brother is 11 years older than me. He had his first child when I was 10, so I became an aunt when I was still a child! We moved around a lot, and I went to boarding school, so I was away from my family a lot. It was good fun, but I missed my family sometimes. My brother had his second daughter when I was 17. 

As the years went on I finished school, went to college and then on to university. I went to university in London and it was fantastic! I had never lived in London before, but I settled in quickly and really enjoyed myself. During this time, my eldest brother got divorced from his wife and met someone else. My other brother was working in a shop, but wanted to be a DJ in nightclubs. 

After university, I decided to become an English teacher and moved to Barcelona to study. Barcelona is a lovely city and I had a great time there. I finished my course and started looking for work. That’s when I found a job in Turkey. I hadn’t been to Turkey since I was a child, but I was excited to come. 

I moved to Turkey in 2001 and started teaching. That’s when I met my husband. We dated for 7 years and then got married at the beginning of 2008. I had my first baby at the end of 2008. While I was in Turkey, my eldest brother married a Polish woman and they had another daughter. My other brother married a Brazillian woman and they had a son together. In 2011, I had my second daughter.

We have a big, international family now, with relatives in Turkey, Brazil, Poland and England.
