My Free Time

Hello! My name’s Johnny. I’m thirteen years old. I live in England. I just want to talk about what my friends and I do in our free time. Tom and David are my best friends. We are all in the same class.

Teenagers often feel bored and think they have nothing to do. I can’t understand them. I’m never bored.

You can play a musical instrument; it’s good fun! I play the guitar and practise a lot. At home I usually listen to rock music or read magazines and books. Of course, like other teenagers I often play computer games or go on the Internet – but not all the time! It’s not good that a lot of teens live their lives through social media. It’s better to make real friends.

If the weather is nice I go for a walk with my friends or we ride our bikes after school. All of us love rollerblading. We often play football, basketball or Frisbee in the park. When it is rainy, we go to the sports centre. We usually play table tennis or go swimming at the sports centre.

In the evenings I sometimes watch TV. I often invite my friends over and we play chess or cards. At the weekend we go hiking, fishing or sometimes we go to the cinema. We like comedies best.
