My Friend Michael´s Family

My friend Michael has a problem. Michael is a good boy, but his cousin Jonas is not. Michael and Jonas look
like twins, but they are not brothers. Michael’s parents are both professors at a local university. Jonas’ mother
works in a bank, but his father disappeared when he was a little boy.
Last night, someone stole a $400 drone and video camera from a local electronics store. The police arrested Michael this morning because his face was in the video, but it wasn’t really Michael’s face. It was Jonas’ face. Michael loves Jonas, so he didn’t tell the police that Jonas took the drone. He just told the police that it was someone else in the video. Of course, they didn’t believe him.
Michael asked me what to do, but I don’t know what to tell him. He shouldn’t be in trouble for something he didn’t do, but I understand that he doesn’t want to hurt his cousin. Michael is the best player on our football team, and we have a big match on Saturday. But more importantly, Michael didn’t do anything wrong and he shouldn’t be in trouble with the police. I might call the police and tell them about Jonas, but then Michael will be mad at me, and Jonas will be really mad at me! Maybe I should tell Michael’s parents. They will know what to do.
