MY GRANDFATHER’S CHILDHOOD
My grandfather loves talking about his childhood memories. When he was little they had no TV at home but ''there were some rich people in our neighbourhood who had TV and we went to their house to watch TV'' he said. He says it was more fun like this because in those times not many people had TVs in their houses and they came together to watch. When my father was born in 1970, they bought a TV but it had no colours, it was just black and white. There was no remote control so they had to go near the TV to change the channel. They didn't have so much technology but they were happy and they spent a lot of time with the people they loved. His favourite game was hide and seek. He said they played the same game for hours and hours. They were very happy about spending time outside with their friends.
