MY GRANDFATHER’S CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

MY GRANDFATHER’S CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

I went to my grandparents' house at the weekend for my homework because it was about my grandparent's childhood memories. I chose my grandfather because I knew that he had so many adventures as a child. I asked him some questions about his family, friends and school life. Here are the things I learnt about him.

He was a very happy child because he lived in a crowded family. They had so much fun during dinner as a family because they had no TV in front of them. They all talked about their day and laughed. He said there was only one disadvantage of having three sisters and brothers. He was the youngest child of the house so his parents didn't buy any new clothes for him so he always wore the clothes that were bought for his sisters or brothers. He went to the same school with them so he could see them at break times to play. They walked to school because the school was very close to their house and they always took their lunches with them from home. His mother was very good at cooking so all the children took very delicious meals to school but my grandfather was very smart. He sold some of his food to his friends so that he could buy things for his family.
