Firstly, don’t panic. The plans you make at sixteen (1) ...................... for the rest of your life. In many ways, starting to question things at this stage is better than doing a few and feeling regret later on. You have more opportunity to rethink before starting something like college or training. So, the next step would be (2) ...................... to do. Write some lists of things that interest you and see if there are any common themes. Work out if there are possible careers in these areas. Research study and career opportunities that (3) ...................... passionate about. Enjoy the process of learning about yourself, and you’ll get there.

Talk with someone you love and trust. You will need to plan your future. For example, check out Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. You will need money, food and shelter. You will need friends, acknowledgement, goals, satisfaction from life etc. Go on asking yourself this question. Read more, discover new things. You (4) ...................... which you haven’t realised.

You’re 17, so almost any (5) ......................... going to change dramatically as time passes. It’s good to plan for your future, but it may be more important at this time (6) ......................... of a person you want to become. One of the best ways to do this is by having experiences. Don’t waste your youth with worries about the future. Go and do something. Even if it bores you.
