My Terrible Day

I had a terrible day yesterday. The alarm clock didn’t work, so I got up late. I quickly dressed to go to school on time. My mum told me not to waste time eating something for breakfast. She wanted to make toast so I that I could eat on the way, but when she put the bread in the toaster, it didn’t work! The toaster was broken. I came to school by taxi because I was so late. When the taxi arrived at school, I realized that I forgot my money at home! I felt so embarrassed at that time. I apologized the taxi driver and gave him my address and phone number so that I could pay him later. Then, I went to the canteen to buy a sandwich, but I learned that all the sandwiches were gone. I was so hungry but went to the class anyway. I knocked on the door and saw that my friends were taking a test. I forgot all about the test! I didn’t study and I was late. Thankfully, my teacher was very understanding. Since I was ten minutes late for the test, she gave me an extra ten minutes at the end of the test. Luckily, I passed the test, but I never forgot that terrible day.
