People who lived in ancient cultures believed in different myths.
Ancient Arabs believed in mythological creatures and also told lots of stories.
Some of these stories are in a book called One Thousand and One Nights.
The legend of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves
This is a famous story from the book of One Thousand and One Nights. In this story, Ali Baba,
who is a poor woodcutter, discovers the hidden place of thieves with the magical words of “Open Sesame.”
At the end of the story, Ali Baba runs away from the thieves and finds their big cave of treasures.
The Monster of the Nasnas
The Nasnas was a terrible monster. People believed that the Nasnas was the child of a demon and a human.
They thought that it had the power to kill people by just touching them.
They said that the Nasnas had only half a head and half of every body part.
His body helped him jump quickly with only one leg to catch and kill humans.
