Never have I ever tried it, and I won’t!

Hi, my name is Alice, and I’m Olga’s friend. I’m from London and I come from a rich family,
so Olga thinks that I’ve tried everything exciting in my life. But that’s simply not true.
There are things that I’ve never done and probably never will in the future.

My dad loves extreme sports. Every time we go on holiday, he chooses destinations that include beaches,
where he can jet-ski or go paragliding, or places where he can do difficult or extreme sports,
like rock climbing and snowboarding. To be honest, I’ve never tried any of those.

Eight years ago my dad wanted to teach me to surf. I know it’s something that many people have tried,
but I’ve never done it because I’m afraid of the waves in the ocean. What do you think happened?
Well, you can guess! Every time I was on the surfboard, I jumped into the water,
so my dad finally had to give up teaching me how to surf!
