Hi Ron,

My name is Sam. I’m Ron Matthews, and I am from the US.
I live with my family in Australia because of my dad’s job. I’ve got two sisters and one brother.
We all go to school here in Melbourne.

Schools in Australia are really good. They are small with only about 500 students.
In the US, some schools have 2,000 students. And we don’t have many tests here,
so I’m not very nervous about tests. I usually get up at 7 in the morning. Then I have breakfast and get dressed.
Here I use the school bus. Our classes start at 8.45. Then we have lunch at 12.30.
We start our classes again at 2 and finish at 5.

Hi Sam,

I’m so happy that I have an e-pal from Australia now. I’m from the UK and I live in Liverpool with my parents.
I don’t have brothers or sisters, but I have lots of friends here at school.

In our school, all students wear a uniform. I’m a seventh-grade student, so my uniform is blue, white and black.
Our school isn’t very big. We have about 400 students here. Our classes start at 8.30,
so I always get up at 7 and have a shower. Then I eat a quick breakfast with my parents and get dressed.
Usually my dad drives me to the school, but sometimes my mum does it.
Our lunch break is at 12.30 but it’s only for one hour.
