Next Summer

Tina: ‘My summer wasn’t so bad. My house is near the beach, so I went swimming at least twice a week. But swimming can be boring, so I travelled with my family and friends. We went to Spain and Portugal because summers are warmer there. We went shopping and swimming there, too. Next summer, I don’t think I will travel to a place with beaches. I think I’ll go to big cities like New York and Tokyo and go sightseeing. The buildings, museums and cinemas there are great places to go to. I’ll try to watch as many films as possible. I’ll visit lots of museums, and I’ll take pictures of the beautiful buildings there. I think my parents will accept it if I ask them. 

George: ‘I had a busy summer because I took Italian and German lessons. I didn’t do a lot of things, so I think I’ll plan to do a lot this summer. I think I’ll ask my parents to take me to Italy and Germany. I want to speak to the people there and visit beautiful places in their country. I think I’ll be able to speak their languages, but I don’t think I’ll be very good. I think I’ll make a lot of friends there. I hope it’ll be a lot of fun, so I won't forget.'
