NO LIMIT TO YOUR DREAMS
I have had a life of miracles. I have met great people, travelled to amazing places and done rewarding things to contribute to other people’s lives. It’s been a life full of good memories, and I have always felt happy for being what and who I am.
I wasn’t very lucky when I was born. I had a serious disease which left me with only one leg. My right leg was amputated when I was only four years old. I felt sorry for myself until I was 15 years old, when I met my music teacher, Mr Bradley. He helped me to forget about what I didn’t have and focus on what I already had. I took music lessons from him, and he taught me how to play the violin. He was the one who showed me that there were many things I could do with one leg. He encouraged me to join in the football team of the disabled. I must admit, it was one of the best years of my life. I played on the team for a year, and then we moved to Los Angeles. I started a new life there. I went to college and studied psychology.
Now, I’m a therapist. I have helped several people from all around America and enjoy doing that job. It’s rewarding to see people feeling better. Last year, I started to involve the violin in my therapy sessions. It’s been an amazing year. People say they feel relieved while they listen to the sound of the violin. I have held nearly a hundred sessions with my violin so far, and I guess I will go on with that for another year.
My life story, I believe, has inspired a lot of people around me. I have always told people that nothing should stop you when you want to achieve something. If you believe so, you will have no obstacles or boundaries.
