NOTES FROM ESPERENZA

 My name is Esperenza. I am Spanish and my name means hope in English. I am from Madrid but I live in Ireland now. I have got a big family. I have got a mum, a dad, two sisters, a brother, my grandma and my grandpa. Our traditional food is tortilla. It is like an omelet with potato and eggs. We can eat it for breakfast, lunch or dinner. My favourite dish is paella because I like sea food and rice. When we have a big family meal, you can always smell paella in our kitchen. Of course, we don't eat only the traditional dishes. We like pasta, pizza, vegetables and fruits, too. My grandma is very good at making desserts. She makes delicious cakes, tiramisu and apple pie for us.
