On the Farm

Hi, I’m Talia. My uncle Ben has got a farm in the village. He lives with my aunt Jane and their two children, my cousins Jack and Jill in a huge house. They have a lot of pets: dogs, cats and rabbits. Every summer my two sisters, Tracy, Lily and I stay with them for 2 weeks. We always have a wonderful time. We usually get up early and work very hard. We feed the chickens and collect the eggs for breakfast. After breakfast, we pick up apples, pears and plums in the mountains. We put the fruit into baskets. My aunt is always busy in the house and my two cousins help their dad. He has got a jeep and a tractor. My cousins are thirteen and fifteen years old.

They have got a lot of animals on the farm: sheep, cows, goats and horses. We can ride horses and I love baby lambs. We get very tired so we go to bed early, but every day is exciting. We hate the end of the holiday.
