La Tomatina Festival

Hello! My name is Jessica. I’m visiting my pen friend in Spain at the moment. Today there is a festival in Spain. La Tomatina is a big festival. Many people come and join the festival from different countries. It’s a big tomato fight. People are getting ready for the festival. They are decorating the streets. Big trucks are carrying tons of tomatoes for the fight. The DJ is playing music. People are dancing and having fun on the streets. A music band is getting ready for the concert. Some people are selling food and drinks on the streets. I’ll tell you more about it when I come home!

New Year’s Eve in Sydney

Hi! My name is Joshua. I’m in Sydney to celebrate the New Year. People are really busy here. They are decorating the streets for New Year’s Eve. Ships are coming to the harbor for the parade. People are putting the fireworks on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and in the garden of Sydney Opera House. I’m so excited for the night. See you later!
