Our Band

Hi, my name is Veronica and I’m in a band. My class has the best music band at school. Mary is our singer. She can sing loudly and her voice is high. Joanna plays the violin. She’s very good at it. She can play the violin fast, but our songs are usually slow. She has no problem with that. Tommy plays the flute. He’s a beginner, so he doesn’t usually play the difficult parts of our songs. Instead, Jack does. He plays the keyboard and can make piano and organ sounds on his keyboard. Alex is our guitar player. He plays very beautifully. He writes most of our songs. Martin plays the drums. He can play very loudly because he is strong.

They are now playing on the stage, but I can’t. I’m sitting in the audience and watching them play because I’m ill. Mary is singing and looking at me. She’s smiling at me now. Next weekend, we have another show. I hope I can play then.
