Tina: Carl? Tell me about your family. How old are your parents?

Carl: My dad is 40 and my mum is 36 years old.

Tina: Oh, your parents are very young. My parents are 51 years old.

Carl: But you’ve got three brothers and two sisters. I’ve got only one brother. He’s 1 year old.

Tina: You’re right. You’ve got lots of cousins. How many?

Carl: Ten cousins, but my favourite cousin is Sammy. He’s 8 – my age. Who is your favourite cousin?

Tina: I haven’t got a cousin because my dad has no brothers or sisters and my mum’s brother hasn’t got a child.
