OUR HERO

Hi everyone! My name is Chris. Today, I want to tell you about our music teacher, Miss Belly. She is in her thirties and she is an experienced music teacher. She is popular in our school because she is like a hero! She teaches us about all kinds of music, famous musicians and takes us to concerts. But this is not all she does for us. She also has a social club where she combines music with volunteer work for people in need.

I’m a member of her club. We get together twice a week and talk about the needs of our community. In some areas of our city, the streets are not clean because people throw rubbish on the streets. So we make a plan, practice some songs and go out on the street after school. We give a little concert to attract people’s attention. Then we talk to people and give them information about why the rubbish is a problem. We also give street concerts to raise money for children who need help. We use the money to buy things like clothes, books and pencils for these kids.

Miss Belly is our hero. I want to be a teacher like her. I hope I can.
