OUR MONSTERS

OUR MONSTERS

Do you do art at school? Four friends drew pictures of monsters in their art class. Now, they want to introduce you to their monsters.

Samantha: My monster is as big as a house. He has two horns, like a goat. He is blue and he has yellow hands. He has four fingers on each hand. He smells as bad as my brother’s sport socks because he never has a bath. He has an angry face, but actually he is very kind. He’s more gentle than a person. He’s warm and cuddly.

Angelika: My monster is funny. She has a mouth as big as a crocodile’s mouth. She smiles a lot. She has bigger ears than a rabbit. She’s pink because pink is my favorite colour. Her name is Pauline. She lives behind the sofa and watches our TV late at night.

Graham: My monster is pink too. She has some spots on her side. She’s very fast. She’s as fast a cheetah, but she’s very lazy too. She has green horns but she isn’t scary. Other monsters are scarier. She only has two teeth, so she only eats soup. She has no claws at all.

Jacob: My monster is a very clever monster. It’s much more intelligent than my teacher. It’s as tall as a giraffe. It has a beak and two little horns. It has wings but it can’t fly because it’s so tall and heavy. It eats cherries and apples, and sometimes it eats carrots too.
