Our Neighbourhoods

Hi, my name’s Carleen. I live in a beautiful neighbourhood in Austin, Texas. In my neighbourhood, there are a lot of places. There are two libraries, two schools, and a park.
I love this park because it’s big and beautiful. There are lots of restaurants and cafés in my neighbourhood, too. There’s a nice café next to my school and a big Chinese restaurant near my house. But there is one problem. There isn’t a hospital in my neighbourhood. There are two hospitals in my friend Ellyn’s neighbourhood.

Hi, my name is Ellyn. Carleen is my best friend, but we’re from different neighbourhoods in Austin. We’re in two different schools, too, but my school is in Carleen’s neighbourhood. There’s a big beautiful park in her neighbourhood, but our park is small. In my neighbourhood, there is one café and one restaurant, but there are two big hospitals. There aren’t any schools or libraries. My neighbourhood doesn’t have cool places, but the houses are beautiful there.
