Our Old Photos
Last Sunday, Oliver was in Oxford to visit his grandfather, Frank. They had lunch at a nice restaurant and then walked to Grandpa’s house. The house was cosy and Grandpa was happy like all the time.
They had a nice chat, and then he showed Oliver their family album. The album was full of old photographs. They were black and white. Grandpa’s father was a very handsome man. His name was Nathaniel. He was a musician, a pianist. He was at a concert in that photo. Grandpa’s mother was a teacher. She was very beautiful. Her hair was long and wavy and her eyes were dark blue. She was at her school with her students in the photograph. Grandpa’s uncle was a scientist. His name was Arthur. He was at his lab in the photograph. The lab was huge! It was full of experimental setups. It was great to see those photographs. Grandpa told Frank fun stories about their family. They were great stories. It was a happy day.
