Our Old Town

This is a picture of our town 100 years ago. It was a small town. There weren’t any cars on the streets. There were only horses. The air was cleaner and people were happier. There weren't lots of shops. There were just a greengrocer’s, a bakery and a tea shop. There weren’t any computers or mobile phones. There were only two phones in the whole town. In those days, people didn’t have many of the things we have today, but they were happy.
