Ludwig van Beethoven
His date of birth is unknown. He was from Germany. His father, Johann was a tenor singer. Ludwig was the second child of the family. He died in Vienna in 1827. He was one the greatest composers of the Classic era. He began his career by playing at parties for rich people. He didn’t care about his appearance and he was moody. After becoming popular, he travelled a lot and performed in different cities in Europe. His works include an opera, a violin concerto, 5 piano concerti, 32 piano sonatas, 10 sonatas for violin and piano, 17 string quartets and 9 symphonies.

Queen
Queen was a British rock band. There were four people in the band. They started making music in 1970. Freddie Mercury was the most popular band member. They released 15 albums. They performed in different countries all around the world. In 1977, they released a new album. “We Are the Champions” and “We Will Rock You” were the best songs on this album. You can still listen to these two songs at sporting events. Freddie Mercury died in 1991, but the band and their songs are still popular. In 2002, “Bohemian Rhapsody” became the UK’s favourite hit of all time. They are one of the best-selling music artists.
