OVERCOME PROBLEMS

As teenagers, we all occasionally have problems, either at school or at home. You can feel lonely when you’re having hard times, but this doesn’t mean 1) ................... and deal with these problems. You should do something for your own happiness. Here are some suggestions for you:

If someone at school threatens or bullies you, you should definitely tell a teacher or an adult you trust. This is a serious problem, and you shouldn’t hide it from anyone. This includes cyberbullying. If 2) ................... via texting, direct messaging or emails with things like threats, pictures, rumours or verbal attacks, you must talk to someone about it.

Stick with your true friends! If you keep fighting with some friends, or if some friends always ask to copy your homework, 3) ................... . Choose to keep the friends that care about you. Forget the people that use you or pretend to be your friends.

Use your time correctly! Make sure your social relationships don’t waste all of your time, and remember to devote some energy to school and learning. Don’t lose sight of being successful at school, especially if you have career or university goals. Spare 4) ................... and have an attitude of success.

Have a positive attitude! You may feel upset about life. It might feel like your problems will never end and you’ll be miserable forever. Luckily, that’s not the case. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel, and you won’t live like that forever. Having a good attitude will help you get through many difficulties, and you will have a longer life. Get involved in activities! You can join clubs or activities at school, such as the theatre group, the debate team, the maths club, or the sports teams. In addition, you can join a dance class or start rock climbing club. Start volunteering at a nursing home or a shelter for animals. Do what you can do to get involved, meet people and have fun.
