Paper Art
Tracy is making a birthday card for her mum. She has a lot of colourful paper. She is using scissors to cut the paper into strips. The strips are very thin. Then she is rolling the strips to make some shapes. In the end she is gluing the rolls. This paper art is called 'quilling'. Now she has a beautiful quilled sea star for her mum. Tom is making a bookmark for his best friend, Ryan. He is using paper. He is not using scissors or glue. He is only folding the paper to make the shapes. He is using his felt tips to colour the shapes. This paper art is called ‘origami’.
