PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD
Hello, I am Pradeep Kamar and I’m Indian. I live in Kerala. Kerala is in the south-western part of India. It’s located on the seaside, so we have wonderful beaches. People speak Hindi in my country, but we have our language, and it’s called Malayalam. Farming is very important in Kerala. That’s why I am a farmer. We grow different things such as rubber, coffee, tea and rice. My city is also a national leader in fish production because we are at the seaside. You can find and eat lots of sardines and tunas from our sea. The weather changes a lot in India. Generally, it is very rainy from July to November but very nice in the other months. Hi, I am Aykuna Gashi from Albania. I live in the capital of Albania, Tirana. Our country is not very crowded. The population of Albania is 2.8 million. The official language is Albanian, but I speak Greek, too, because my father’s parents are originally from Greece. 1.17% of the population here is Greek, so I am not alone. We grow wheat, corn, potatoes and grapes. The weather here is different in each season. In short, we have short, soft and wet winters but hot and dry summers.
