PICNIC THIS WEEKEND

PICNIC THIS WEEKEND

Fred: What are you doing this weekend, Lana?

Lana: I’m going on a picnic. You?

Fred: I don’t know. I have no plans.

Lana: Maybe you can join us. I’m going with Terry and her family.

Fred: Are your parents and sister going, too?

Lana: My sister isn’t coming with us, but my parents are.

Fred: Where are you going?

Lana: We’re going to Central Park. It has a lot of nice places.

Fred: I’m sure it’s fun to go on a picnic there. I want to join you.

Lana: That’s great! Let me call my mom ... Mom! Fred’s coming with us this weekend.
Is it OK? ... Thanks, Mom. Bye ... She says you can join us.

Fred: That’s so nice of you, Lana. What are you bringing?

Lana: We’re bringing a lot of salad.

Fred: I can bring some cake. My dad makes delicious cakes.

Lana: That’s a great idea, Fred.
