Planning Your Food
I think it’s important to have a food plan. You need to know how many calories you put in your body and how healthy your food is. If you don’t, you’ll get fat and you won’t have a healthy life. Every weekend, my parents and I sit down in the kitchen and write a full food plan for the next week. My mum is the one who cooks, so she plans most of the foods we eat every week. My dad makes a comment when he doesn’t like the food or when the food is too expensive to make. I like all kinds of foods, so I just make comments at the end of the week about how I feel about the food plan. We have one day a week called the ‘cheat day’. On that day, we eat whatever we want, even unhealthy foods. I think a cheat day is necessary because unhealthy foods are so delicious and I just can’t forget them.
