PROFESSIONAL MOTHERS

My name is Wanda. I have three best friends. Their names are Donna, Susan and Kelly. Their mothers all have very different jobs, and I want to tell you about them. Donna’s mom is a dentist. She loves her job, but a lot of her patients are scared of her. Actually, they are scared that they will have a cavity. They love Donna’s mom, and she loves to fix their teeth. Susan’s mom is a pianist. She studied law while she was at university. She planned to be a lawyer, but she really loved to play the piano. She quit her job and went to study music at a great music school. Now she plays the piano all around the world. She tries to send me postcards from every city she visits. Kelly’s mom has the coolest job of all. She is a cyclist! She was almost in the Olympics ten years ago, but she hurt her knee. She doesn’t have a car because she rides her bicycle everywhere! I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up. I really love drawing and writing funny stories. My dad says I can be a cartoonist!
