QUEBEC WINTER CARNIVAL

Every year in February, people celebrate the magic of winter for 17 days. The mascot of the festival is Bonhomme. Bonhomme is a friendly snowman. The most famous attractions of this winter festival are the night - time and daytime parades. People decorate the streets with lights and ice sculptures. People also have race in horse - drawn sleighs. It sounds fun but it is a bit dangerous. Another interesting activity is “ Snow bath”. People wear swimsuits and go out in the snow. Bonhomme , the mascot , plays in the snow with them. People have great time and enjoy the beauty of winter. People must see visit this carnival.
