Reading: E-BOOKS VS PAPER BOOKS

Reading: E-BOOKS VS PAPER BOOKS

Electronic books, or e-books are taking the place of traditional paper and ink books. They’ve become popular for many reasons. First of all, they are cheaper and environmentally friendly. Plus, they can be easily stored and carried wherever you go. Furthermore, they are cool!

Another advantage is that one can buy any book without any effort on the Internet. You can do your shopping from home using the internet and a credit card. You can even read some sample pages before you buy to get an idea what the book is about.

One can read e-books either on the computer or book readers. You can upload as many books as you want and switch from one book to another in just seconds.

There are even audio versions where the text is read by the author. Some people love those as they can keep doing whatever they are busy with while listening to the book.

However, some book worms claim that reading text from an e-book isn’t the same as reading from a paper book. They can’t accept the idea of an e-book being an alternative to a traditional paper book.
