READY FOR THE PARTY!

I am going to Assos with some friends this weekend. We are going to stay at Ida hotel.

It is a wonderful resort. It has got 20 villas by the sea. In fact, I go there once or twice a year to relax and get some oxygen. This weekend we are going to celebrate a friend’s birthday there. Her name’s Dafne. I think it will be
a nice organization for her. I have arranged everything. It will be a poolside party. There will be ten tables with white orchids on them. One of our friends is a DJ so the music will be in his hands. There are going to be 24 candles on the birthday cake because it’s Dafne’s 24th birthday. I am trusting the chef for the birthday cake.

I don’t know if the weather is good enough there to swim in September, but I’ll take my swim suit with me in case it is warm. The Mediterranean is a perfect region for a holiday this time of the year, but I can’t say the same for the North Aegean coast. You can never guess the weather there. I hope it will be sunny and warm enough to swim. The birthday party will be on Sunday, so we are going to see Assos Antique Harbour and Temple of Athena on Saturday afternoon. We will probably eat dinner in a nice fish restaurant in the harbour also. Unfortunately, all of us have to go back to work on Monday, so we are setting off in the late evening on Sunday.
