RIO: THE STORY OF A POOR PARROT

I love going to the cinema in my free times. I sometimes have company, but I usually go on my own. I have seen a lot of films so far. I loved the film I saw last week. It’s called Rio. It’s a 3D cartoon movie. It takes place in a city called Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. It’s the story of a parrot, Blu. Blu is taken from his home and is raised by a human. Therefore, he can never learn to fly. Also, because he is raised in the city, he doesn’t have any friends and feels lonely. Linda, the human who raises Blu, decides to help him to learn to fly and find a friend.

I learnt how cruel we can be to animals. I also learnt a lot of things about the city of Rio de Janeiro and how beautiful the city is. The music was also fabulous – it was mostly Brazilian and very cool!
