ROLLER BLADES!

My name is Martin and today is my 16th birthday. I am at my birthday party right now. My parents gave me a pair of roller blades as my main gift. I am putting on my roller blades right now. All my friends are watching me. I have never put on roller blades before. It’s not easy. Now my mom is helping me tie the laces. My friends are laughing at me. I have watched my friends use their roller blades many times, but I have never used them myself.

Okay, I have put my roller blades on. Now I am standing. Everyone is waiting for me to start rolling. Here I go! This is fun! I am rolling really fast! How do I slow down? Oh no! I have reached a hill! I am going down the hill. I can’t stop! I am so scared. OWWW! I have crashed into a tree! Has anyone seen me? Have they called an ambulance? I have never been in an ambulance before. This is going to be fun!
