Running into A Friend
Carl: Hey, Tina. I can’t believe we’re meeting in Miami!
Tina: Oh my God, Carl! What are you doing here?
Carl: I’m here with my friend Johnny. We’re riding our bikes across the country. We’re going to stay here for two days and leave on Tuesday. What about you?
Tina: I’m here on holiday. I was so tired of working, so I took off a few days from work. I arrived yesterday. I’m going to stay here for the whole week.
Carl: Cool! Maybe we can hang out. We’re going to the Italian restaurant at 8.00 this evening. Would you like to join us?
Tina: Oh, sorry. I’m going to visit a friend at that time. But I’m having breakfast at the hotel tomorrow morning. It starts at 7.30, so you can join me. I’ll pay!
Carl: Sure. But we have to leave early because we’re going to fix our bikes after 10 a.m.
Tina: It’s OK. I’m going to the beach at 10.30, so we can leave the hotel together at 9.30.
Carl: Cool! We’re going to ride our bikes near the beach around 4.00 in the afternoon.
Tina: Great! Maybe I’ll see you there. I’m going to sunbathe on the beach then.
