Sally's & Alex's Pet

Hi, my name is Sally. I’ve got a pet. It’s an Italian tarantula. It’s four years old, and it’s brown. It’s got eight legs but hasn’t got a tail. It’s got short and stripy fur. It likes insects. Some people think that tarantulas are scary, but I think they are cute and very clever. It’s got a cage in our garden with a sand floor and a bowl of water in it.

Hi, I’m Alex from Brazil. I’ve got a pet. It’s a parrot. It’s a gift from my grandmother. It’s eleven years old, like me! It’s got colourful feathers: blue, orange and green. My parrot loves eating peanuts. Sometimes it says some words, but I cannot understand them. It’s got a big cage in my bedroom.
