Sally the Ant
The weather is warm. The sun shines, so Sally the Ant doesn’t want to work. She wants to listen to music and dance. She wants to rest and do nothing. Later, winter comes, and everywhere is covered with snow. She can’t go out to find food. Somebody comes and knocks on her door. It is Sally’s mother. She says, “I know you are hungry now. I have some food for you. Next time, work with us during the summer.”
