Samuel Swift ’s latest novel

Samuel Swift is a successful comic book writer. His best known stories are about the superhero Spacem an, who can turn into the shape of any alien from any planet in the cosmos. He has also written some fascinating books with weird facts about science, but his latest book is a thriller. The heroine of his new novel, Storm Cloud, is a likeable teenage girl called Li nda . Li nda ’s father was killed in an accident at work. Now, Li nda wants to find out exactly what happened. She gets in touch with Mi ke , the son of another victim of an accident. At first Li nda and Mik e work together, but after some time Li nda realizes that, in for his mother ’s death, Mik e has been killing the people responsible. Li nda has to stop him before more people die! Mik e is the perfect villain – a very unpleasant person indeed, and the setting of the story, in a small - town England , makes an interesting change fr om the big city environment of most crime stories.
