Aokigahara, Japan, is one of the scariest places in the world.
Every year, about 100 people come to the sea of trees at the foot of Mount Fuji and never leave. It seems that it’s easy to get lost deep in the forest: compasses go crazy, GPS starts acting up and communication by phone is impossible. It is due to a change in the magnetism of the land or an ancient curse? As of now, there’s no explanation.
