School Trip To London

Hi, I’m Karen. Last year I visited London. It was an amazing school trip! We arrived at Heathrow Airport on Monday. On the first night, we stayed at a hotel in Piccadilly Circus. There were lots of people from all over the world. It was great. On Tuesday, we visited Madame Tussauds’, the waxworks museum. We saw the wax statues of many famous people. In the evening, we walked to Portobello Market to do some shopping. I bought souvenirs for my parents.

The next day was very busy. First, we visited the Science Museum and then the Natural History Museum. After that, we travelled to the London Zoo by underground to see interesting wild animals. Finally in the evening, we walked through Regents Park. On the last day, we visited Buckingham Palace. We watched the ‘Changing of the Guard’ ceremony. It was amazing! We were lucky because it didn’t rain at all.

The food was delicious. I ate roast beef and fish and chips. I drank British afternoon tea and had apple tart. Ice creams were excellent there. We were very tired but we enjoyed the trip a lot.
