Schools in the Past and Present

In the past, schools were different from the ones today. There weren’t a lot of the things that we now have in our classes. For example, classes didn’t have video projectors or whiteboards. Teachers wrote on blackboards. The blackboards were usually made of wood, and teachers used chalk instead of marker pens. The rules were strict, so students didn’t have a lot of freedom.
Today, classes have lots of things to help students learn better. For example, the boards are big and we can move them around the classroom. Some schools have digital SMART boards. In some classes, students can use tablets and other technologies instead of paper books and notebooks. Teachers are kinder and students have more freedom.
