Joe: What are you doing, Kim?

Kim: Hi Joe. I’m practising writing Korean.

Joe: Korean? Can you read and write Korean?

Kim: Yes and no. You know, my parents are from Korea. I can speak Korean, but my writing was terrible.

Joe: How can you learn to write Korean?
Kim: I just use a Korean website. It teaches Korean alphabet in English. What languages can you speak, Joe? Joe: A little Spanish. My grandma is from Spain, but she didn’t teach my dad Spanish.
Kim: Why? It’s always good to know two or more languages.
Joe: I don’t know why. Your parents think differently. Good for you!
