Shopping in Tokyo

Hi Mary,

I’m in Tokyo right now. I love this place because it’s got very beautiful shopping centres. I am sitting in a restaurant in Ginza and eating Japanese food. It’s amazing! Ginza’s the best place to shop in Tokyo with lots of big shops. We haven’t got a place like this in Leicester. You know that my hometown isn’t so big.

Here, the shops are selling everything you can think of. People are walking around with bags in their hands, because it’s Saturday evening and people have time to buy things. I am actually with a Japanese friend of mine today. Her name’s Aiko. She knows this place very well, so she’s helping me with the shopping. She’s showing me the good places where I can buy what I want, so her help is saving a lot of my time. I’m tired and hungry, so she she’s looking at the clothes in different shops while I’m eating.
